These seminars were recorded in the Science Network Track at Word Alive 2022.

1. What does it mean to be human?
In every age, technology has shaped how we see ourselves. With this in mind, we’ll unpack what the Bible says about who God has made us to be.

2. Where did we come from (and does it matter)?
Are we products of a mindless process, or intentionally designed? We’ll explore some different views Christians hold about human origins - as well as what we have in common.

3. Can we edit who we are?
Biochemical tools developed in the last decade make it possible to rewrite our genetic makeup. We’ll explore what's acceptable in the lab in the light of our created value.

4. What's next for humanity?
The transhumanist movement aims to use technology to upgrade ourselves into a new and improved humanity 2.0. In this session we’ll consider how Christians ought to respond.
